Neroli oil (Citrus × aurantium) is one of the oils that you can use when you are overstressed or nervously excited. It also is the perfect aromatic oil for fighting against the chaos caused by a big crisis. It is the perfect oil to have in these troubled times...

On the nose, Neroli has an orange note with a light touch of honey, making it a very calming and reassuring aromatic oil.

Neroli oil is obtained through the distillation of the flowers of bitter orange trees. Its name comes from a small city close to Rome (Italy) called Nerola.

To obtain 1 ml of aromatic oil, 1 kg of flowers must be harvested. This is the reason for the high price of the oil which may not be for all budgets. Neroli oil is an exclusive essence.

Après-You conducted a market study on this valuable oil in 2022.

Out of eight well-known purveyors of essential oils, the average price is around 20€ per ml.

N.B. The cheapest price in this study comes from a non-organic oil.

During the research, Après-You noted that it was common to incidences in which essential oil of Neroli was sold pre-blended with a vegetable oil. This seems a simple way to decrease the price of an expensive oil.
